Today, Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy held a ceremonial concert entitled “Zhekpe-Zhek” dedicated to May 7 – Defender of the Fatherland Day and May 9 – Victory Day.
During the evening, the National Orchestra performed patriotic compositions, wartime songs, and musical works celebrating love for the Motherland and national spirit. The concert program was aimed at honoring courage and heroism, unity and patriotism, as well as preserving historical memory.
Special guest performers — the IL-Canto Quartet, Zhaina Bauyrzhankyzy, and National Orchestra artists Akylbek Bektasov and Aigerim Kozhabayeva — performed together with the orchestra, presenting patriotic works dedicated to heroism and devotion to the homeland.
The main purpose of the concert was to express respect for the defenders of the Motherland, honor the heroism of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and foster a spirit of patriotism among the younger generation.
The concert was conducted by Order of “Qurmet” recipient Abilai Tilepbergen, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zheksen Aisyn, and laureate of international and national competitions Naryn Kazhgali.
The National Orchestra’s concert, which celebrated national spirit and historical memory, was held at a high artistic level.
We sincerely congratulate everyone on May 7 – Defender of the Fatherland Day and May 9 – Victory Day! We wish our country peace, stability, and clear skies above. May the heroism of our ancestors never be forgotten, and may their glorious legacy live forever in the hearts of future generations.
