In the city of Almaty, on the stage of the Almaty Theatre, a festive concert “FOLK SHOW NAURYZ” dedicated to the national holiday of Nauryz was held, featuring the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy.
The original musical project, led by conductor Adilet Azbayev, combined traditional music and vocal art with modern arrangements, presenting audiences with a new stage sound. Soundtracks from famous international films were also performed on national instruments.
The concert featured kobyz players Olzhas Kurmanbek and Gulnur Sargizova, as well as laureates of international and national competitions Yerbol Tazhibayev, Dana Sabit, Shakhzod Sana, Akyner Ailin, and Akylbek Bektasov. Also participating were the dance ensemble of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the student choir of the Zhuban Yelebekov Republican Estrada and Circus College.
The high level of performance by the artists of the national orchestra, along with vibrant stage solutions, received a strong response from the audience. “FOLK SHOW NAURYZ” became a significant cultural event, reflecting a harmonious blend of national traditions and contemporary art.
