In the concert hall of the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, a creative concert titled “OPERALIA” by the talented opera singer Nurgalym Amanbay — a soloist of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre and winner of the International Competition of Vocalists and Accompanists named after Hibla Gerzmava — was held at a high artistic level with the participation of the National Orchestra.
The evening featured the first professional ensemble in the history of national musical art — the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy — and became a vivid example of the artistic synthesis of classical operatic art and national instrumental music. The program included selected arias from the мировой оперной классики, works by Kazakh composers, as well as special musical compositions performed with the accompaniment of the National Orchestra.
Guest performers of the evening included soloists of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera” — Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhupar Gabdullina and laureate of international and national competitions Dinmukhamed Koshkinbayev, as well as the student choir of the Zhuban Yelebekov Republican Estrada and Circus College.
