On the eve of National Dombra Day, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments solemnly concluded its 92nd concert season with a gala closing concert.
The final concert was dedicated to promoting Kazakhstan’s traditional musical heritage. The program featured traditional kui compositions, Kazakh folk songs, and outstanding works by Kazakh composers that form the golden treasury of the nation’s musical culture.
The concert featured Ramazan Stamgaziyev, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, as well as Nurgalym Amanbay, Zhaina Bauyrzhankyzy, Nursultan Utegen, and Sabira Bibatyrova, all laureates of international and national competitions. The orchestra was conducted by its Chief Conductor, Abylai Tilepbergen, recipient of the Qurmet Order, Zheksen Aisyn, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and Naryn Kazhgali, laureate of international and national competitions.
Throughout its 92nd concert season, the orchestra carried out a wide range of artistic projects, participated in major national and international cultural events, organized concert tours, and presented new concert programs. Through these activities, it made a significant contribution to preserving and promoting Kazakhstan’s rich national musical heritage.
