Today, a meaningful and inspiring musical evening titled Concert of Works by Composers of Kazakhstan, organized by the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, was held at a high artistic level. The concert, dedicated to the 120th anniversaries of prominent figures of Kazakhstan’s musical art — Akhmet Zhubanov and Latif Khamidi, the 100th anniversaries of Yermek Serkebayev and Bakir Tazhibayev, as well as the 80th anniversaries of Kenes Duisekeyev and Shomishbay Sariyev, offered the audience a profound spiritual experience.
During the evening, the National Orchestra performed selected masterpieces from the golden treasury of music by composers of Kazakhstan, honoring the outstanding personalities who made an immeasurable contribution to the development of the nation’s musical heritage. Together with the National Orchestra, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Aizhan Nurmagambetova; soloists of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre Aidos Zhabagin and Askar Rysbek; traditional singer Saulezhan Tagziya; and talented vocalists Bibigul Qylymkhan, Gulnar Koshenova, Aruzhan Alpysbayeva, and Saya Makhambet delivered remarkable performances and received warm appreciation from the audience.
The concert’s exceptional artistic quality was further enhanced by the professional mastery of the orchestra’s Chief Conductor, recipient of the Order of Qurmet Abilai Tilepbergen; Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, conductor Zheksen Aisyn. Their conducting brought special depth and brilliance to the evening.
