The Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy held a concert titled “Küy Keruen” at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School named after O. Zhautykov.

Today, the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy performed at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School named after Orymbek Zhautykov (RFMS) in the city of Almaty with a concert program titled “Küy Kerueni,” наполненную глубоким духовным содержанием. The event became a tribute to national art and was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the народного поэта Zhambyl Zhabayev and the 165th anniversary of the outstanding kuyshi Dina Nurpeisova.

The concert program featured kyuis and compositions by prominent representatives of Kazakh musical culture — Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, Dauletkerei, Zhambyl Zhabayev, Dina Nurpeisova, and Nurgisa Tlendiev. The artistic concept of the evening demonstrated an organic combination of traditional national music with contemporary musical trends, presenting to the audience the richness and diversity of the country’s musical heritage. This meaningful event, uniting art and the educational environment, contributed to broadening the духовный кругозор of students and fostering a strong interest among young people in national cultural heritage.

Performing alongside the national orchestra were Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhenis Yskakova and laureate of republican competitions Askhat Urpekov. The harmonious сочетание вокальных номеров и инструментальной музыки filled the evening with vivid emotions and received a warm response from the audience.

This joint cultural and educational project was implemented within the framework of creative cooperation between the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy and the Republican Physics and Mathematics School named after O. Zhautykov. Such initiatives, aimed at promoting national art among the younger generation, will continue in the future.
