Songs of Kazakhstani Composers

The Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy invites you to a special musical evening — the concert “Songs of Kazakhstani Composers.”

The concert is dedicated to the anniversary dates of outstanding figures of Kazakh musical art who have left an indelible mark on the golden treasury of national music: the 120th anniversary of Akhmet Zhubanov, the 120th anniversary of Latif Khamidi, the 100th anniversary of Yermek Serkebayev, the 100th anniversary of Bakir Tazhibayev, the 80th anniversary of Kenes Duisekeyev, the 80th anniversary of Shomishbay Sariyev, and the 90th anniversary of another distinguished figure.

The program will feature the finest songs by Kazakhstani composers that form part of the golden fund of the national musical culture.

The concert will include performances by renowned artists: Bibigul Kilymkhan, Saya Makhambetova, Aizhan Nurmagambetova, Aidos Zhabagin, and Askar Rysbek, who will perform accompanied by the national orchestra.

Chief Conductor — Abilai Tilepbergen, recipient of the “Qurmet” Order.
Conductors: Zheksen Aisyn, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and Naryn Kazhygali, laureate of international and national competitions.
